It's
been a rough year for print media, and I was sad to hear
that Anime Insider has followed suit, with the April
issue being their
last.
They
went out on a game-centric note, and the issue is full of
Capcom goodness, from it's Mega Man StarForce 3 cover to
a full spread on Capcom's anime-damaged past and future,
so be sure to check it out at a newstand near
you.
Thanks
to Nytetrayn for the sad
news.

Capcom's been cranking out Resident Evil games
for over 15 years now, hitting just about every possible
game system since the era of PlayStation 1. We're talking
random platforms, too, like the GameBoy Advance, the
beloved Dreamcast, PC titles and more. I think the only
opportunity we've missed was Virtual Boy, actually. IGN
Retro's got everything you've ever wanted to know about
the long and complex history of Resident Evil as a game
series. You're not going to learn about the story, but
you will pick up all kinds of insider-y information on
the development history behind the games. Enjoy,
this is a well-researched, mondo article on the phenom we
like to call RE.

Finally, after
several months, we're announcing the winners of the SFIV
Inside Cover Art contest! A big "I'm sorry!"
for taking so long to make this announcement, but we
received such great entries (over 200 entered) that it
was tough to pick the best.
Although we only intended to feature two entries
for the inside cover art, we received such awesome work
that we selected several winners - six total (!) to cover
the regular and collector's
editions (two cases) for both X360 and PS3
platforms. So take a look at the amazing art and join us
in congratulating the winners! These pieces will be
featured on the inside covers - and the artist's name and
unity ID will be included right on the image!
As the game is shipping today...I'm sure some of you
already have seen this great stuff.
