Theyyyyyy're
Back!
If you missed your chance at Comic
Con,haven't pre-ordered Darkside Chronicles
just yet, and happen to be going to PAX... you are in
luck.
Your chance to turn into a zombie awaits you by
stopping by the Capcom Booth, and playing through one of
two levels of Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles at
PAX.
If it turns out anything like Comic Con did,
show up early, cause the appointments fill up
fast. My goal is to get a better zombie mob
picture than the one above. :)
Hope to see you there, fun
times await.
When it rains Niitsuma-san, it pours, and
he's back with his second blog of the day, about his
experience with Tatsunoko Vs Capcom at Gamescom:

Gamescom
Report: Very Well Received,
Again!
Hi everyone, I'm
eating a lot of Soba (wheat noodles which you dip into
Soy-sauce) after coming back from Germany.
I
went to Gamescom which is the last of all the US/EU trips
I'll been going to this summer.
Like
Comic-Con, this place was HUGE.
It
was interesting to see that Germany is a big PC market,
there were many PC booths.
There were also
many music game booths with guitars, drums keyboards,
etc.
There are many Japanese gamers who play
those in the arcades to show off, but it was amazing to
see so many people singing one after the other in turns
because Japanese people are too shy to sing in front of
everybody.
Regarding TvC, I got
interviewed by many European media people. I'm glad to
see that they were interested the game.
The
awareness of Tatsunoko was higher than America - there
was an Italian journalist who explained to me a lot about
how he watched Casshern when he was young, there was a
Spanish journalist who told me about "Dash Kappei" (a
sports comedy anime that was on air in Japan for a year
from 1981) which was popular in Spain, and he told me to
include the character as additional TvC characters, and
many other interesting and fun interviews.

Our
friends at Destructoid
have a little contest going on in which you can win one
of those crazy cool zombie
t-shirts that were formerly Comic-Con
exclusives. All you have to do to enter is post a picture
of your best zombie impression in their comments section.
The contest is available to all countries as well, so no
excuses!
Of course, that's not
the only way you can get your hands on one. As Matt
mentioned yesterday, pre-ordering
at Gamestop or buying
it directly from our store will also net you
these fine shirts. But then again, free is always
better.
As always, be sure to
keep your eye on Unity auctions
because you may see one of these shirts pop up
soon!

Here's Yohko's quick-and-dirty translation of
TvC producer Ryota Niitsuma-san's post-Comic-Con
entry on his official (as in officially official)
blog. He coos about our fun comic-con
tournaments, taunts his fellow Lost Planet and Ace
Attorney producers, and talks hamburgers!

Everything is HUGE!
Just
came back from Comicon.
Beside from Comicon,
we went to NOA as well to present the game.
So
Comicon, everything was huge!
The place where
it was held was more than a kilometer long and each booth
there was fancy and big, really
overwhelming.
We had playables and
we had good feedback, the users in the US do
really like the VS. series.

I'm a bit late
to the party, but better late than
never!

Everyone say
Brains!
Comic Con this year was
absolutely awesome, and the reception for Darkside
Chronicles and the t-shirt was something to
behold. After having a line for demos the first
preview night, in which some people got in line at the
opening of the night, and proceeded to not get in for a
demo, we knew we needed to switch up our
strategy. Haha. We switched to
appointments to help preserve people's Comic Con
experience, as we definately don't want people in line
waiting all day. (sorry to those on the first
night)

The guys over at Machinima.com have
just added a new interview they had with Bear McCreary
about Dark Void at Comic-Con. For those of you who may
not know, Bear is the Composer on Dark Void's soundtrack.
He worked on Battlestar Galactica, so as you can imagine,
Dark Void's soundtrack is just as epic and awesome as his
previous works. Check out the interview for more details
on Bear's involvement with Dark Void!

Turns out that Contra Costa Times writer Gieson
Cacho is a big fan of the Ace Attorney
series. Not only did he get a chance to play Ace Attorney
Investigations during the show, but he also took
advantage of Eshiro-san's appearance at Comic-con to
grill him. Check
out Gieson's reactions to the new game (which we showed
in English for the first time at the Con)
here.
(Note: Doremon is
not actually in Ace Attorney
Investigations, I just couldn't resist using
this image)
